Rockport is a high-quality shoe manufacture with comfort as the primary goal. Consistent with most other reviewers, this Rockport Pump runs just a tad long and just a tad narrow. (My foot semi-wide and more-6-than-5.5, and the W width is good - but I'm wondering if I should've gone with 5.5.) Usually, suede will eventually give more than leather and definitely more than patent leather. Especially given the heel height, this is a comfortable shoe - as most Rockports are. It's just much more stylish than most Rockports! However, it is still a high heel - so don't expect too many miracles in terms of comfort . . . unless you are someone who super-tortures her feet!!!
