ZigTech - The Energy Drink for your Feet What is ZigTech? ZigTech is a unique, dramatic, geometric, zig-zag shaped outsole engineered with a special lightweight foam. Everything about Reebok’s ZigTech footwear is designed to conserve energy and return it to the athlete. How do ZigTech shoes work? ZigTech cushions and absorbs the impact of the heel strike and sends a wave of energy along the length of the shoe, propelling the athlete forward with each step. With most athletic footwear, energy return is focused on the vertical impact of the heel strike. With ZigTech, energy is transferred horizontally along the zigs, so more of it is returned to the forefoot. |

Amazon.com Product Description
It’s like an energy drink for your feet. As Reebok’s most technically
advanced training shoe to date, ZigTech allows key leg muscles to do
less, so you can do more. Its patented sole technology conserves and
returns energy for a soft and springy ride.
From the Manufacturer
Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes
wanted to run faster. In the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of
the first known spiked running shoes. By 1895, he was in business making
shoes by hand for top runners. Before long, his fledgling company, J.W.
Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished
athletes.
